TRASH CAN NIGHTS Book Signing -- Stanford Bookstore -- Monday, October 20th @ 6 pm!

For the second straight year, I will be signing books at one of my favorite places in the universe to buy books and also Stanford basketball shorts, the Stanford Bookstore! Come to hear me read from TRASH CAN NIGHTS, to eat some delicious snacks, and to buy a tiny red cheerleading outfit that says something like "MY STANFORD GRANDMA LOVES ME." Great!

(And yes, we'll probably also all get nachos at Treehouse after.)

The Stanford Bookstore is located on the Stanford campus, across from the Claw, at 519 Lasuen Mall, Stanford, CA, 94305.

TRASH CAN NIGHTS Book Signing in Los Angeles -- VROMAN'S BOOKSTORE in Pasadena -- Friday, September 5th at 7 pm!

  • Vroman's Bookstore

Calling all Angelenos, especially Pasadenans and Eastside friends (that means you, Vin Diesel's character in the Fast & Furious franchise!),

On Friday, September 5th at 7 pm, I will be at the oldest, largest independent bookstore in Southern California for my largest, most independent book event yet!

That's right, I'll be reading and signing TRASH CAN NIGHTS at VROMAN'S BOOKSTORE, and both of those things deserve all-caps because that's how excited I am for this event. Come check out my books, and check out the millions of others at this magical, magical place.

Vroman's is located in Pasadena, CA at 695 E. Colorado Blvd. There is ample parking. I don't know why, but that feels important.

TRASH CAN NIGHTS BOOK SIGNING in Rancho Cucamonga - Barnes & Noble - Saturday, August 16th at 1 pm!

Inland Empire homies!

Saturday, August 16th, at 1 pm, I'll be doing a book signing and reading at the Barnes & Noble in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Come beat the dry, dry, I.E. heat by hanging out with me and maybe buying several copies of my books -- everyone knows that's the best way to stay cool, in both a "air-conditioned" sense and a "Teddy is cool" sense.

The Rancho Cucamonga Barnes & Noble is located at 11090 E. Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

TRASH CAN NIGHTS Book Signing in Los Angeles (well, Thousand Oaks) - Barnes & Noble - Saturday, August 2nd at 2 pm!

L.A. friends, especially Valley friends, and also Ventura friends, Oxnard friends, and Camarillo Shopping Outlet friends!

Saturday, August 2nd, at 2 pm, I'll be doing a book signing and reading at the Barnes & Noble in Thousand Oaks. My first Barnes & Noble book signing ever! Come chill with me in the "Teen Paranormal Romance" section, and then hopefully, in honor of TRASH CAN NIGHTS' release, B&N will make a new YA book section -- the "Middle School Kids Whining About Life" shelf.

The Thousand Oaks Barnes & Noble is located at 160 S Westlake Blvd, Thousand Oaks, CA, 91362. See you guys there, and then maybe we'll go throw around the football at Oaks Christian High School, and... I don't know what else is in Thousand Oaks... we can go to Jamba Juice I guess?

TRASH CAN NIGHTS BOOK SIGNING in Santa Barbara - Chaucer's Bookstore - Sunday, July 20th at 2 pm

Come to the single best place in the single best city in the entire world to have me sign your copy of what will hopefully end up being one of the top billion YA sequels of all time...

That's right, I'll be signing copies of TRASH CAN NIGHTS: THE SAGA CONTINUES at Chaucer's Bookstore in Santa Barbara!

Swing by Chaucer's on Sunday, July 20th at 2 pm, where I'll be doing a reading from the book, signing as many book signatures as my poor Sharpie can handle, answering any questions you might have, and eating every bag of Peach Rings that I can't manage to give away to someone in the store. Save me from eating too many Peach Rings and come to the signing!

Chaucer's is located in Santa Barbara's Loreto Plaza at 3321 State St, Santa Barbara, CA, 93105. See you there!

TRASH CAN NIGHTS LAUNCH PARTY at Tecolote Bookshop! - Santa Barbara - Tuesday, July 15th at 5 pm

Come celebrate the launch of my second novel (and first sequel), TRASH CAN NIGHTS: THE SAGA CONTINUES at Tecolote Bookshop, the same store where a young me bought Captain Underpants books and waited for my dad to finish talking to the owners so I could go home and read my Captain Underpants books. (I'm kidding -- Captain Underpants books take approximately ninety seconds to read.)

This July 15th at 5 pm, on my actual launch day, there will be me signing books, me doing the voices of my characters in ridiculous fashion, me eating lots of Peach Rings, and me getting sick from eating too many Peach Rings. Come be part of the fun!

Tecolote Bookshop is located in the Montecito Village area of Santa Barbara at 1470 E Valley Rd # 52, Santa Barbara, CA 93108. Come buy my book, and maybe my other book, and maybe some Captain Underpantses while you're at it!

Has your lifelong dream always been to see me on a panel of first-time authors discussing what it's like to be a first-time author? Well then what are you waiting for? Come to this panel -- it's your lifelong dream!

On Wednesday, June 11th at 4 pm, I'll be appearing at the Santa Barbara Writers Conference First Book panel along with Ava Dellaira (Love Letters to the Dead), Ara Grigorian (Game of Love), Mac Talley (Yesterday We Forget Tomorrow), and Carole Wells (Amberella), and there will be a book signing afterwards. BOOK SIGNING at Stanford - Stanford Bookstore - Wednesday, October 2nd at 6 pm!

Ever since my freshman year at Stanford, I've looked longingly at the "Stanford Authors" section of the campus bookstore and thought, "Maybe someday, but... nah."

And, well, now I get a chance to prove Freshman Me wrong!

There will be some reading, some snacks, a Q+A, and, if I remember anything about Stanford, a bunch of people coding madly in a fountain while eating fro-yo and complaining about how busy they are.

The Stanford Bookstore is located on the Stanford campus, across from the Claw, at 519 Lasuen Mall, Stanford, CA, 94305.

Teen Author Reading Night at Los Angeles Public Library - Eagle Rock Branch - Thursday, September 26th at 6:30 pm!

This is an awesome reading series in which YA authors read snippets of their book and talk about writing and cool stuff like that. I’m lucky enough to be on a panel with Gretchen McNeil, Cherry Cheeva, and Leslie Margolis, and it'll be moderated by the multifarious, ubiquitous Cecil Castellucci!

The Eagle Ranch branch of the LAPL is located at 5027 Caspar Avenue in Los Angeles, CA.

BOOK SIGNING in Santa Barbara - Chaucer's Bookstore - Sunday, September 22nd at 2 pm!

I have literally been going to Chaucer's my entire life. Before my family moved to Santa Barbara, we used to stop at Chaucer's on road trips and I'd get to buy approximately 45 Berentain Bears books each time. Once I lived in Santa Barbara, I used to go there before and after each haircut or trip to Gelson's (gosh, I even remember Chaucer's in the PRE-GELSON'S TIMES.)

... Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, now I'm going back to Chaucer's for a different reason.

I am thrilled to be having one of my first-ever book signings at Chaucer's, in my opinion one of the all-time greatest bookstores on Earth. Please join me there for a reading, Q+A, snacks, and fun!

Chaucer's is located in Santa Barbara's Loreto Plaza at 3321 State St, Santa Barbara, CA, 93105. See you at the book signing and at Gelson's afterwards!

BOOK SIGNING in Santa Barbara - Tecolote Book Shop - Wednesday, August 28th at 5 pm!

This event is incredibly near and dear to my heart... and my house!

I will be doing one of my very first book readings/signings at Tecolote, a bookstore that I have been going to regularly with my dad since I was six years old.

Elementary School Teddy used to go to Tecolote all the time to buy Harry Potters and Captain Underpants books, and now Grown-Up Teddy is going to be able to buy a copy of his own book! Circle of Life, eh?

Tecolote is in Montecito, CA (Santa Barbara), located in the Montecito Village at 1470 East Valley Rd. See you there for snacks and Captain Underpantses!

There will be a brief reading, a fun Q+A, surely some games, and several Trash Can Days-themed treats and prizes. Plus, I'll be there, and come on, I'm great!

Once Upon a Time is located at 2207 Honolulu Ave in Montrose, CA, which is on the Eastside of L.A., close to Pasadena, Glendale, and Silverlake. That means I expect plenty of rocket scientists, Armenian restaurant owners, and hipsters!
